My name is Samantha Carbon (UKCP) and I believe we are all “Work in Progress”. I am a highly qualified psychotherapist London and i’d love to help you overcome the challenges you’re facing and help you live life to the full.
I believe we can all benefit from counselling by taking time for ourselves. You may be reluctant to enter therapy because there is a fear that therapy will be painful. Please keep in mind that therapy is about releasing pain. While therapists treat depression and anxiety, among other conditions, therapy isn’t always painful and I see therapy as a place for growth and self-discovery. Clients seek therapy because they long for deeper meaning in their lives or a greater sense of peace. I will provide an environment you can look forward to coming to where you feel understood, safe, and protected. I believe clients are the experts on their experiences and the aim of my role as a therapist is to support you to make sense of these experiences, with the hope towards introducing new perspectives. I believe establishing a safe confidential setting in which past failures can be re experienced allows, clients to test their responses and understand their feelings safely.
